To me, already nice already. Mine is also in a mess. Got a creeper plant running around my whole tank so look like jungle. May want to take all of it out and let the keep the rest.

Can see my tank as attached.

hi hirowen, i think ur first set up with the anubias in front of the DW is better. by moving the anubias back, it is now in the same plane as the java ferns. this creates too much of a symmetry and kills depth. to increase the depth of field, u will need to either move them further back, or forward to where they were.if you decide to do this, then you will have to inject in more widelov ferns in the back right. and if you are worried about the size of the leaves of the anubias, then maybe you can consider the petite anubias. the japonica you added also blends in too nicely with your e. tennellus.

i also had problems with waterroaches with plants bought from Teo's. i now spray the plants down BIG TIME before adding them to the tanks. i hope the bugs in your tank will disappear soon!

    regards

Haha! What is that creeper plant? looks kinda tall in the foreground! Maybe u can juz remove the foreground plant and change to a shorter plant like glosso or tennellus? haha! Hey, juz my humble suggestion k!

Wow! Haha! Thanks for ur complement for my first scape! Actually, to me i feel that both are equally nice! Seriously! Haha, cuz both planted by me ma!! kk stop the crap!

As for the japonica, now they have all melted away! Guess is becuz i kept in the fridge for too long or what! haha! gotta buy 1 more pot again!

Haha! looks like Teo's way of attaching moss on java attracts a lot of bugs' lives! haha! Next time i will do the same way as u, dun worry, lesson learnt! haha!
