Yes andrew I agree with your view. Consoles attract a different kind of gamer.

Like PSP, those are meant for people who want to be entertained while on the move, say while during a long MRT ride.

PC games tend to be for those who prefer to stay in one spot and play multi-player games with people online or through TCP/IP.

AOE III looks very slick and I like the bit where they add in the New World scenarios. The addition of Native Americans as allies in the wars of the early colony years in North America is a good thing. I will definitely get a copy of this game.

consoles are great for classic RPG, action and arcade games. very long never touch RTS
