Hey ya guys, it's been quite a while since i last had my tanks showcased. After long months of juggling work and school, finally made it through and with the developement of a few vivas in series right now.

This series is dedicated entirely to species basis set up in which each set up is devoted to each particular environment and needs.

Below attached is what it used to look like in the initial weeks 5months ago after setup.

tick tock.... and time went by. 5 months went past and the whole system starts to develope and take form.

And this is what it turned out to be as of today...

For this set up, a common greenback frog resides in it...

....lurking patiently for his "cricket happy meal"

    Statistics:
    2 footer all glass
    36 watt PL Philips
Leica and Coco Peat as bedding

    Humidity:80%
    Temperature: Daytime 24 degrees celcius
    Nightime 21-22 degrees celcius

Flora: Java moss as foreground and carpet
    Narrow leaf java ferns
Bromeliad ( Pink rush and Star )
    Spider Plant
    Bird Nest Fern
    Wandering Holes
    Emmersed Taiwan Moss

Fauna: 1 male common greenback frog.

    Best Regards,
    Phillipe.

Incidentally, an unidentified reed also happens to be in the same vicinity as the main inhabitant.

Here's it after the morning showers...

Hope to identify it in the coming days as he's always on the run constantly though when it comes to feeding time, i guess for him size doesn't matter that much as he's the first one who comes to snatch the crickets first !!

    ..........more pics to come........

    Regards,
    Phillipe.

Terence, you referring to this? No they are not spider plants.
I used to think these are called Lilyturf, but a check with the Nat parks site state these are St. Augustine Grass aka Stenotaphrum secundatum 'Variegatum', commonly found in the nurseries.
    ...I love rubies too ...
