Any idea what might be going on? And treatment to recommend?

Sorry, no pic, didn't bring cam to office today...

Hmm... could be the begining of mouth fungus. Secondary infection for flexibacter or columnaris.

Do a search and consider treatment quickly. Very quickly.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

Medication for the above diseases should not affect invertebrates and plants. Don't worry.

You might want to try a mild Potassium Permanganate dip over a 5 day interval.

Fish in office leh... Difficult to do the dip thing without people talking behind your back for doing stuff not related to work... And do the whole tank, the coulour ... Sigh... This tank is giving me the most headache and heartache... Already lost 7 females liao! Maybe I shall just let nature take over and see whether the last 2 can make it or not...

Probably cannot make it on their own. Adding salt may extend their misery for while but it's not a solution. Perhaps take them home to treat?

She died on the way home...

Now left only 1 female in the office tank... Think I will convert it to a shrimp tank... Sigh...

Thanks... Think my colleagues will be upset too... They love the females as they are very active and like to chase each other around. Not to mention, they are very colourful... Oh well...
