Aiyah! Black Neon Tetras lah... I tot what is a Black tetra for so long...

Hey, nice tank.... I like the way the vallis/saggis sprout out at the side. Good effect! The carpetting looks good... But IMO, it would be better to stick to 1 type of foreground plant... And if this is my tank, I will pick Taiwan moss.

will root monster or other fert tabs help solve the "no-base-fert" problem?
cos isn't wat a root monster is for? assuming that the base fert has been fully utilised in a mature tank?

love the way u positioned ur vals too... so pleasing to the eye...

ha... was thinking of moss wall, but then....placed a small dimension of background mesh sometime ago, felt wasn't growing fast and quite unsightly to place at the background, so in the end gave up and removed it...

true bro vallice, i placed some Ferka Stemma capsules which i got FOC during the AQ workshop around my vallis and MM area, but some vallis leaves are turning yellow...not sure wat happen, perhaps will grab more root monsters frm LFS and plant in

Vallis should use Ferka Rosette leh...

Anyway, my tank has no base fert too... And my vallis was doing well with only 1Wpg...

You can consider using Java Fern...

Buy more Java fern to fill up the background, I mean. Java fern grow so slowly, it might take a long time if you are tying your own plantlets...

Oh... Maybe I can guess why... Dun trim the vallis like you are giving them haircut... The cut leaves will eventually stop growing and die. I did that cos they are growing new leaves anyway and the older ones grew WAY too long... Make sure you have newer leaves before giving them a haircut.
