hair algae...
my tank also tio...so sever that i need to remove my entire patch of hairgrass...poor plants.. i HEARD that shrimps and SEAs can settle tat. So i've dump in 20 malayan shrimp, 10 yamato shrimps, 10 cherry shrimps and 5 SEAs. You can say i kiasu or kiasi la..but the hair algae are never seen... but nowadays i see alot of shrimps shells when they molt -.-
yup.. the shrimps are very good at clearing them up... especially the cherries... cos there are small, so can get into very difficult places to do the maintenance...
but like wat most of the lao jiaoz will say, try to improve ur condition of ur tank to prevent the algae growth... which, some of us are still banging ardtrying to get it rite...

thanks all bro here.
after read all the comments, can conclude that algae eating fauna such as shrimp and also increase the CO2 amount can get rib of algae attack. So, i will try it.

You must grow plants else algae will prosper. Think from the plant point of view. CO2 helps as it help plants to make food..
