    Hi,

    Just curious,
    Do apisto cross breed if different species are kept
    together??
    Anyout try this before?

    cross breeding is almost possible between different species... except for species like Agassizii, bitaeniata, cacatuoides & some others.. simply becoz all of the subspecies have same feature (body shape).. so to avoid cross breeding, separate subspecies

    Find that Apisto female look almost quite the same for different species. It's difficult to tell them apart from each other.
    Male are easier.

    Let the male decide which to mate than. LOL

    maybe difficult for us to ID them, but the fishes knows the difference.. so if u have other subspecies then crossbreeding is possible, or else.. very unlikely
