Small white 'worms' on tank glass

Wonder if you guys can see... My lens cannot zoom in too much and it is damn difficult to get a focused shot of these creatures with what I have now...

They are tiny (~1mm), white and stays on the tank glass. Look just like white dots but if you look closer, they are like very tiny white worms, crawling all over...

What are they? Anyone else seen them before?

Probably oligochaete worms. When these guys appear, its a sign of overfeeding. Do a water change and reduce the food given. I usually kill off many during water changes. They appear every now and then. Harmless for adult fishes but they're nasty critters in a fry tank.

I come across this before, quite hard overcome, they will somehow multiply themselves in a fast speed. I think LFS has a medication for this, but, it will damage ur filter bacteria as well!

Hmm... I would not want to use medication... Maybe I'll just give the tank a good rinse...

I noticed this white worm as well when i do up my planted tank. It's very thin and it wiggles very slowly in the tank. I also noticed very small planaria. What puzzles me is this happened one or one week plus after my initial setup and after water change. I did not introduce any fish, shrimps or snails for about 3 weeks and i always notice it after every water change. Wonder how it got there since it's usually associated with high bioload???

Throw in a small angry fish and it should be quite happy... never worried too much about little worms in my tanks. It's all natural anway

Yup, I saw these in "plentiful" when i had my Luohan fish. Add salt and all gone. But not advisable with planted tanks. Medication sounds good, but its for the pro. Too little, not effective, too much kill your fishes. Best way, yup, get a few "hungry" fish to eat them. Molly and guppy seems an excellent choice.

those white wrigglers are quite harmless actually, but of course unsightly.
