Uneven growth

Hi

I started my first taiwan moss tank 2 months ago...it's all green and healthy. But is it normal for the moss to grow unevenly? I wanted a carpet sort of layout....but now its quite bumpy and lumpy.

Do i need to re-tie all of the moss down? or will trimming with scissors work?

Actually bumby and lumpy is a good effect.

Just trim off those moss which are taller or thicker and wait for them to grow in together will do !
