See http://www.rva.ne.jp/echinodorus/9771.htm
I leave it to the experts...

I don't think it is 'spidernet' I have updated my original post with more photos of the plant.
Below is another beautiful red Echi I got form China. The 2 long leaves are new. Any idea what it is ?

no idea, there is too many variations in the market

The first one looks like a spidernet indeed, but without tags from zoological or dennerle, nobody knows.
The 2nd one looks like an e. rose.

E.Rose... could be.
It grows big. The 2 new leaves are showing the potential.![]()

The <Aquarium Plants> book from Christel Kasselmann has a picture of the rubin (pg 270) that looks like the first plant.
The second plant should the rose (pg 269 of the same book)...

I'm crypt collecting... Starting cheap, now have Cryptocoryne beckettii, C.beckettii var petchii, C.crispatula var.balansae, C.griffithii(Melted!), C.nurii, C.parva, C.pygmaea(Melted!
), C.tonkinensis(Melted!
), C.walkeri, C.wendtii 'Brown', C.wendtii 'Green', C.wendtii 'Green Gecko', C.wendtii 'Tropica' and Cryptocoryne x willisii
Oh, juggling is hard work, man!...

Thanks everybody for helping with the Id. I guess I'll have to let the 'spidernet' grow a bit more before we can be sure of the ID.
Koah Fang,
Thanks for the warning on the size of E. rose. I'll move it to the back to join the big E. bleheri.
BTW, I plant my Echinodorus in pots so that they can be easily moved around![]()
