    Hi anybody's tanks affected by these few days' relatively high temperatures?

    My tank, which usually maintains around 26 degC is hovering around 29-30.
    The mosses are doing poorly (especially the xmas moss)and the rams seem to be more aggressive, chasing the tetras more often than before.

    david, u using a fan? ya, the weather is really warm these couple of days.. personally I cant stand it myself

    me! my tanks are at 30deg, with 4 fans blowing at full speed in the living room!

    (never enjoyed being at the office so much![] , lunching in today![] )

    actually, that is a good sign.. telling u to save $$$.. if not, later u go to TB and end up buying more fishes... yes.. my tanks have been affect.. especially my marine tank.. ever hit 33.4 degrees... crazy man...[]

    I was about to write on the weather and Davidd did it before I do.

    The weather is no good especially to planted tank but fish breeder will be happy.

    yeah, i won't dream of lunching at tb in this weather![:0] members who wants to try having lunch in a sauna, i highly recommend tiongbahru market![]

    hahahaaa.. wrong guys.. apisto spawned in cooler temp, thus usually during late evening or at nite when the water is cooler

    I am in my ICT.... super hot.... sweat[] i was worried about my fish too....... can put ICE in the tank or not???

    ya.. these few days are very hot.. my tanks temp also rise up by 2 deg.. to 30deg. hopefully the next few days are better...

    Mine too, water evaporate so much... and temp is 30. luckily at night have aircon, in the day i put in some cooler water.

    dont do anything drastic. Keep it cool but CONSTANT, else fungus will like you...

    these few days there is a layer of green algeas on my glass walls. is it due to the temperature?

    Fungus already attacking my Moss that i just put in two weeks ago(perhaps bec of the warm weather), and i've 8 shrimp Yamato and Malayan died.

    Mine tank is rising to 30-31 DegreeC.

    Geting very hot nowadays, have to take 2 showers a day! []

    Recently bought "White Dotted" Shrimps at C328 are still doing fine...

    Hope the weather will cool down soon.....[]

    even i cant take the weather .... fell ill for 3 days now .... fever, flu, sore throat, and tons of headaches []
