    duckweed float on the water surface rite how come everyday need to remove when u clear those floating ...
    can pass some to me.. i want to have some in my tank..

    To alot of people, including me, it is a pest... To goldfish and my ikan jelawat, they are food... I dun think you want them, they are like the spirits of the plant world, linger around even when you tot they are no longer around!...

Starting cheap, now have Cryptocoryne beckettii, C.beckettii var petchii, C.crispatula var.balansae, C.griffithii(Melted! ), C.nurii, C.parva, C.pygmaea(Melted! ), C.tonkinensis(Melted! ), C.walkeri, C.wendtii 'Brown', C.wendtii 'Green', C.wendtii 'Green Gecko', C.wendtii 'Tropica' and Cryptocoryne x willisii

    Get feeder mollies, i have them with my cherries and I haven't had any problems yet. Though i imagine if you keep skimming the duckweed before it gets a chance to release spores you should be fine in a few days... -shrugs-

    If there's plenty of duckweeds floating around, try using a comb to scoop them up , quite effective.
