Hello everybody. Just would like to know what is the main reason for not leaving the light on for 24 hours? I do know it is to prevent algae outbreak, but if the plants in the tank are already stabilized and are relatively fast growers, will that still be a problem? Plants need to rest/sleep?
    Thanks!

Yes, plants need to rest and sleep... Without the rest, they will have slower growth eventually and maybe even stop growing...

They are also living things leh...

Also, the fauna would appreciate sleeping with the lights off...
