Rams look so beautiful. But they also look kind of aggressive. Are Rams compatible with Rummy-nose and Cardinal tetras, Otos and Yamatoes? What is the average price of a good quality RAM? If I were to have 6 RAMs in a 4 feet tank, do I have to be concern on the male to female ratio? Tks.

Rams are naturally peaceful and makes them a great community fish to keep, they do not attack or disturb other fishes in your tank. I would maybe get more females than males IMHO. Average price for a good quality one will be about S$4 - S$5. For such a big tank, you can easily house 8 of them, with places for them to hide and stuff....

    my 2 cents

Tks. At a Tampines LFS, I saw Rams classed as Holland, Marble and Golden. Are they all suitable for a newbie?
