    free electricity, water etc!

    but the problem is that my office is shifting in two months time

    need you guys help to advise how to shift the tank then
    will bring home first them bring to office on another day

    then means a lot of draining and topping up of water in the ada soil i got!
    gosh. my sponge method of filling up the tank water may not work anymor cos of all the plants and wood inside now

    The 'bloody water' term is quite funny, I was like , then I read on and realised its the water to saok your frozen bloodworms... Use that for the potted plants. Good nutrients.

    bring tank back
    all plants remain in tank
    go home then figure a way to top up water

    thats all leh

    can take bus and train home one hahah. siong!

    Wow, that is still a heavy thing to carry onto a bus or train... And your plants have to be kept wet throughout the shift. Better to have a layer or couple of layers of wet newspapers to cover the plants...

    two problems


    riccia keep growing longer and is light green

    narrow fern is growing but the new leaves are translucent at the ends.

    also see some algae growing on tank wall. look like dandelion seeds

    Black in colour? Are you dosing CO2?

    New java fern leaves are always translucent at the ends. As they age the translucent ends fill up.

    Stop doing water changes if you're doing them, just do top-ups. Check your maintainence... there might be rotting stuff around. Manually get the algae present off.

    Actually, I would also suggest you observe the 'dandelion seeds' for a while and see if it moves... Hydras can also be green in colour.

    i dun do water change

    only top up with water from another tank which has one cory.

    nothing else in my tank except plants and 4 neons. all still alive. no plants rotting.

    ok will shut off filter to see if dandelion moves or not....

    overgrowth!!

    moss growing well

    but new growth a big yellow and growing in weird angle


    recently move the tank to woodland

    bascially wipe out all the fish

    no thanks to the water in my office
    kill fish in 10 min

    so i gotta lug water from shopping centres to office
