Hi All,
Love this site! I am learning lots
Cheers!
I was googling for info on planted tank, and AQ popped up as one of the links. So I went ahead and got myself registered, hoping to this is a good place to learn & share.
Desperate newbie searching for cray/sulawesi rabbit snail advice.![]()
Hello everyone!
As a newbie and just starting out on my very first "hi tech" tank, I used a lot of "Googling". Most of the time, it's researching the proper care for certain flora or equipment reviews. The links often lead to 'Aquatic Quotient'. After reading comments in some of the threads I was looking into, I realised that there were many Singaporeans and the ads are from LFS' in Sg!
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but AQ is based in SG right? Sorry for my ignorance but I'm pretty certain that it is. Anyway, if most posters are from SG, that's where I feel I can relate to and can learn from their experiences (as opposed to someone from the UK, for example).
Few months of lurking and collecting/learning awesome information from various threads, finally decided to sign up days ago. Looking great!
welcome to AQ and yes AQ is local. Just like you, I found AQ very useful in guiding me through this hobby. I am learning new stuff every now and then from the pros in this forum. I am certain you will find it useful as well!

Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
Thank you Vinz and Ahpui6 for confirming! Yup, looking forward to gaining more knowledge from posters all over the world on this awesome forum.
This a great site. BTW, where is the moderator Benny?

Hello, Jacky,
Always searching on the net for answers as I am new at this thing and decided it is better to belong to a forum where you can learn and ask advise from more experienced people.
was searching diy canister filters and stumbled across this site..
Not difficult. Search for information on aquarium related topics in Singapore will yield AquaticQuotient in the internet.
A colleague showed me an Iwagumi aquascape pic from Urban Aquaria's blog site which with the help of Google led me here.
I installed Tapatalk to read fish forums and this came up as a recommendation. I did not even know we had a local community going on!
