no its some sort of reflection or flare, you can see it is in front of the leaf. the 100mm macro hood is long so I have no idea where that came from, and it is always red. one possibility being the reflection of the ST-E2 flash, but I would think the hood would've block that.

Can't tell. Only you will know what could possibility reflect light around you.
