    hi everyone...need help and advice,i am new to planted tanks ..i have a 2ft tank housing a PNT and java ferns,windelov,moss and nana...no CO2..FL 18W..no ferterlised substrate only crushed coral chips due to my PNT need higher ph7.6-8.0. the plants r all attached to driftwood..they r not healthy some fern leaves r turning black..i like to keep both PNT n plants healthy..any advice or suggestions frm kind souls??

    Are the plants new?

    I don't know about PNTs, but do they consume plant matter? Some pictures of your tank will be good. Generally it's very easy to keep the plants you have alive, just good water flow and a low temperature like around 28 degrees. Is your light white in colour?

    hi terence thanks 4 responding..no my pnt does not like ferns n moss..i had the plants for abt 4 mths..yup white light ..i cant use substrate fert cos pnt like to burrow into sand..so can i use liq fert like lushgro? where to buy them?
