    Hi,

May I know by just using fine filter wool & ceramic rings, is it sufficient for filtration?

    Sheng,

Please post in the correct forums. This should go to Equipment and accessories instead of freshwater fauna.

Anyway, your question is too open ended. Let's start with...

    01. What is your tank size? ? X ? X ? ft
    02. What fishes do you keep and how many do you have?
    03. What kind of filter are you currently using?
    04. What do you feed your fishes and how often?
    05. Do you have plants and substrate in your set up?

With this kind of information, you will get better answers that is suitable for your setup.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

Generally for planted tanks, I'd say fine filter wool and ceramic rings are good enough, as long as enough of them are used.

For example, a 56L tank with fishes will need less wool and rings compared to a 1000L tank with fishes.

The 1000L tank will also most probably implement more advanced forms of filtration, like wet/dry systems (more common in fish only tanks than in planted tanks).
