Osram 6000K tubes

Hi guys,

Any users of Osram 6000K PL tubes here? Does it makes the tank look yellow? Looking for new PL tubes to replace my 15mth old Elbiru tubes.

Was told Philips PL tubes are good but not easily availiable.

Does Osram makes 8000K tubes?

6000k pl light is white.
8000k has a slight bluish tint.

Looking both the 6000K & 8000K tube separately, both will look white to the naked eyes. But if we compare both side by side, the 6000K will look slightly yellowish & the 8000K will look slightly blueish.
I think Osram 8000K is not available.

Yup, Osram only has 6000K and 10000K whitelight. The 6000K will be white when new, but gradually become a little bit yellowish. Your tank will still look white though. It's just the tube turning color...
