Algae on my Riccia

Hi Guys ~
i have recently started a 2ft tank on Riccia ,it is about 2 weeks already .But recently after i had a good look at my tank, i realise that there is some algae on some corners on my riccia tied to my driftwood .they are brownish in colour and abit thread like .have anyone come across this kind of algae and wat to do to prevent it from spreading further ?
