remember the crossbred apisto?

yah.. could be. took a second look at the first pic and realise there are some difference mainly in the facial markings? so anyone knows what species am i having? pls help.

Simon, I think ur pics is a female. 1 of the trio I bought has more n thicker lining than the pics. The other 2 is the same as ur pics. I went down 2day 2 Tropical n was staring hard at the tanks. Still wondering. Maybe I could be wrong.

I got these guys too, very the cheap only $2 heh heh, probably the cheapest apisto here, and quite common too, had seen them in a couple of lfs.

Base on the taiwanese book i hav, i think they might be A urteagai aka colored faced apisto What do you guys think?

LOLz.. frankly I really dunno much abt this species except it was the cheapest apisto I got from any lfs..

Simon,the hybrid come with alot of name.in cichlid Alas it is mentioned to be exported from Singapore in 1995.

Simon, the hybrid did a little dance last nite that lasted ard 10mins. Is this dance supposed 2 be the spawning ritual. I am left with 2 coz 1 had died.
