2ft tank is beautiful. I'm impressed by the moss and HC lawn. If you can bring out more "redness" in the indica, it would be a stunning looking tank.

Hi guys these are my tanks for now, heh, pls gimme your comments, the first one, is 2 x 1.5x1.5, about 3 weeks old, still trying to get the MM and indica to grow bushily, and the blyxa were added a few days ago.
Details:
Eheim 2026 pro2
co2: cylinder @ 2 bps
Lights: 2 x 55 W matrix + 2 x 36W = A whopping 5.2 WPG.
Dosing: 1 tsp three times a week of KNO3 + 1 tsp MGSO4 once a week + 1/8 tsp every 2 days. 1 ml of Micros after water change and .5 ml every alternate day.
Been having hair algae infestations but clearing up now. After increasing my dosage.
Plants: HC, MM, Indica, Limnophilia Aromatica (gratiola) [supposed to fill in the centre 'missing' area but have since trimmed it and waiting for it to grow.
Narrow leaf java, Downoi to the right bottom, and the ubiquitous taiwan moss.
Next: 1 ft cube tank, just set up 30 mins ago
nothing much done to it yet, pls comment bad or good also can![]()

I think you shouldn't have put any fish into your new tank just yet, the tank is still cloudy and isn't stabilised. Is that lapis sand on top of your ADA, seems very little, makes the contrast rather glaring. I would remove the lapis sand. But I like your 2 feet tank, it is very clean.

the fish were formerly in my nano which i just tore down. so house them there, but they are still doing fine there. So thank God for that, didnt wanna waste money buying more critters as i wanted them to take down any mosquito larva. Intend to make this a shrimp tank.
Wanna add more rocks so as to create a cliff effect, and also the contrast is intended, thought it was interesting colour contrast rather than use white

after establishing themselves they do grow relatively fast but not exactly very very fast growers, the initial stages will be a little longer. Per pot i think about 2 bucks or so but now i haven seen many lfs selling them, justikanz may have some to spare you can try pming him

MM is for Hemianthus micranthemoides Its MM cos the plant had its genus name changed... Now some people use HM (MM) to indicate the plant.![]()
