Nano tank solutions
Hi,
I'm keen on setting up a nano tank. ( that means less than 1 foot all around right?)
Which shop sells tanks at these sizes?? Similarly, What kinda lights and filtration to use? and of course where to get it. I don't really see accessories and equipment for small sized tanks, especially lights.

The mass order sounds good. This is the age of consumer power, probably explains why I'm having a harder time doing business.
Otherwise you could get the regular 1ft cube from NA. $15 I think.

You are absolutely right! I am gearing to see up my 1 Cube tank but can't seem to get suitable lights for 1 feet cube!! I would love to have at least 24W to play with.
Anyone's got any recommendations?
Filteration, bro, I think 501 Eden is a good choice. I also have a 2211 Classic which may be a little over powering for a 1 feet cube but if you lower the in Flow, you can restrict the outflow.
Don't really like those Hang-in filters.

For a 1ft cube I'd imagine PL lighting would be best. So guys, are we good for a mass order? If so I'll work out the details and let y'all know. For now I'm in for 4 tanks.

Mr Chan at Na has a 1ft light casing that can be fitted with up to 26WPL. He sells them as the 18W(2 x 9w)PL set. Just upgrade the tubes to 2 x 13W.

Hi Brianclaw, i also bought the 1ft light from Chan- the standard 2x 9w PL set. When you suggested upgrade to 2 x 13w PL, is it possible for me just change the 9w PL tube to 13w or do i need to change ebalast as well?

MO for the tanks look good but the lights might be a problem. So now i'll need to know where you guys want to collect them. Unlike the eden 501 MO, I can't possibly carry 30+ Kg of glass to C328. I suggest we go pick them up individually from the tank makers shop(probably serangoon) OR if they have a free delivery service, have it sent to a shop in the central area(possibly Biotope)
So if we can get 10 tanks I'll make the arrangements.
As for payment, when it's confirmed you guys can just transfer the $$$ to my bank account. Or if the tank maker agrees, we can pay him directly.
