    Hi boys and girls...

As mentioned in http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...ad.php?t=17503 , I bought the Dymax 4x54W T5 HO light set to replace the 2 2x55W PL set I was using...

    I noticed:

    1. The light intensity is SO much better...

    With 2 tubes (bright enough!)

    With 4 tubes (2 x 10,000K and 2 x 7000K)

    2. My plants are growing MUCH better. Red colours are turning up very well! ( http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...t=17552&page=2 )

    3. The water temperature dropped! It is now at 25-27C! With PL, it was 26.5-29C and sometimes even hitting 30C...

Only bad thing is the stand, as mentioned by Michael Lai in http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...ad.php?t=17904

I ended up placing the light set directly on the tank.

Otherwise, I can probably have an even lower water temperature!

Hi... I recieved a query on whether the set can be hung from the ceiling. Yes, it can. But as I am not interested in this option, I did not find out more about it.

Also, I got the set from Nature Aquarium (NA). For enquires on the price, please ask Mr Chan at his shop.

Gee... I forgot to ask... Mr Chan replaced the blue tubes for me and thus I have no idea what are the tube brands...

    Benny, thanks for the re-size...
