I keep them in pH 5,0 - 5,5 with a good biological filtering and mechanics, beyond rations of quality and foods supplied livings creature two times per week (artêmias).
Basic Setup of the tank:
Dimensions: 150 X 50 x 50
Filters: Fluval 304 + Aquaclear 70
Thermostats: 1 Viaaqua 300W + Viaaqua 100W
composed Fauna basically for American ciclídeos south as Discus, Fish Angel, Apistogrammas and Nannostomus, beyond a good shoal of fish of Cardinal.
The wild units require a little more than attention since they are more sensible and stubborn inicalmente to get used with rations... but nothing that with the time does not obtain to train them...
