Hi, I'm planning to introduce a pair of Ram into my community tank. Currently, there are Cardinal tetras, Platys, Borneo suckers and Guppies. Am wondering if they will 'attack' or pose any threat to my current fishes? Anyone can share his experience? Thanks

Mine do jus fine with all the rest of the fishes!
However, do take note of your shrimps!
They tend to go for shrimps, if not, shrimplets!

    They are good community fishes.
Only show territorial behaviour when breeding.

Oh... I was thinking of placing them in a planned Endler's tank... Hmm... Think will let them stick to the community tank...

Guppy tails are a temptation for almost every fish including some tetras. Rams are excellent community fishes. I never have problem with them attacking any other fishes. Guppies are the problem.

Generally, Rams are quite mild. However, when they acquire the taste for shrimps, your CRS, Cherry shrimps, malayan shrimps, etc. will become snacks for them.

They will become territorial and more aggressive when they are spawning. They will chase away any fishes that comes into their territory, they are especially hard on cories and otos.

Male rams will also attack one another due to their territorial nature.
