    like DEA said, rainbow is the common name of C.bleheri.
    it is a 15cm fish. Yes it is a dwarf.

    C.gachua is actually native to our area, it has a light-blue and greenish and olive base if kept well.also same size


    Dwarfs are more touchy then their bigger cousins. They like to hide and perch in shelter and are generally more shy. Once they are confortable in their tank, they are not picky abt food, eating anything from bloodworm to prawn meat. Feeders sometimes too.

    They are more suitable for smallish, more quiet tanks and not rowdy tanks as they will get intimidated easily.

    if you want a snakehead to go with cichlids, a dwarf is not a good choice.

    and it is just too bad they either come as small or very big.
