Pharmaceutical researcher Dr Sian Lim, 32, was caught smuggling some of the rarest species of the beautiful, fragrant and delicate plant into Britain from his native Malaysia.

I was told it is very destructive as well.. some I know who is into this type of interest once told me that usually the tree/plant onto which the wild orchid is clinging on to have to be destroyed to harvest that orchid. Is it true?
