Is a Swordtail capable of clearing algae like a Molly? And also, is the Black Molly the only Molly capable of clearing algae? What about the other kinds of Mollies (Sailfins, Balloon etc)?
I'm looking for an algae crew for a new tank setup in the near future but I'm not going for schooling fishes this time. Obviously I prefer Swordtails more.
Hope some answers can enlighten me.

You need to starve adult mollies... All kind of colours will eat...
Else they will not touch the algae...
    Fries will definitely eat algae...
