    Hello everyone,
I'd like to rescape / better completely rebuilt my 90x40x60cm tank. Nowadays it's only with water and some fish (p. axelrodi, h. rhodostomus and another tetras ..)

I've been inspired by this tank, with I hope not high demands on lighting. How many T5 or T8 tubes would you recommend on 50cm high tank (60cm minus 10cm gravel height )?

    Thanks for your replies.

Go for 2 x 39W T5. I think it should be more than enough.

    Hi V31,
I just bought a 4x39 T5 Ho for my 3 footer, which I feel is 'ample' only might wanna try that. Btw, my tank's height is also 60cm.
Something about the water & the fishes that calms me down.

Alternatively, you can consider 6 X T8 tubes too. Provided the space above the tank allows.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
