Go for 2 x 39W T5. I think it should be more than enough.

Hello everyone,
I'd like to rescape / better completely rebuilt my 90x40x60cm tank. Nowadays it's only with water and some fish (p. axelrodi, h. rhodostomus and another tetras ..)
I've been inspired by this tank, with I hope not high demands on lighting. How many T5 or T8 tubes would you recommend on 50cm high tank (60cm minus 10cm gravel height )?
Thanks for your replies.![]()

Hi V31,
I just bought a 4x39 T5 Ho for my 3 footer, which I feel is 'ample' only might wanna try that. Btw, my tank's height is also 60cm.![]()
Something about the water & the fishes that calms me down.
Alternatively, you can consider 6 X T8 tubes too. Provided the space above the tank allows.
Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
