    i think is the same disease...better do it fast else like my neon tetra left 3pcs in good condition from 100pcs. yesterday caught more than 10++ and put in plastios tub and feed them a lot of floating food .. think the water too dirty till till morning all die and smelly...

    Last meal before they went western paradise...

    arg... that fish has been in the tank for almost half a year.. donno whether got spread the disease to others .. always c it jerking away cos it cant stay afloat.

    tonight go check whether has it spread...

    Somehow neons are most suseptible and intolerant to NTD, this is why it is called NTD. Most other tetras get it too, but they take much longer to manifest any sign or die.

    In any case, once the disease is in the tank, chances are it will remain until you revamp and disinfect the tank. In the meanwhile avoid neons. Keep hardier fishes... they take much longer to succumb... even for many months.

    Just wanted to know once the fishes contacted NTD, they will stop schooling and always went hiding?

    Yes, that is one of the symptoms.

    But that is also the symptom for many other diseases that will also kill the fish.
