    would this fixture be a good idea?

    comes with 4x54 watt bulbs. they are 12,000k
    would my plants thrive with these bulbs?
    fixture is going over a 75 gallon aquarium (roughly 285 liters)

    Isn't one of these available in Aquamarin's offer?

    I have the 2 x 24W one. Can confirm that it's Parabolic reflectors. Intensity was good.

    I had to change both tubes to OSRAM 6000K though.

    just so you guys know.. poster is from the US.. so aquamarin's offer isnt really valid..

    Miso.. i wouldn't go the 12k way if you were into growing plants.. that set also doesn't have any good reflectors on it... thats important..

    i figured i can rig some kind of reflector up so that i'd work out for me.
    i was just really concerned about the bulbs.
    thank you guys for the input.
