    Hi Ppl,
Just to share with you guys, went down to NA yesterday to enquire about this. It seems for the light stand, you gotta attach left and right for both sides then bend it yourself to achieve levelness so that it can sit properly on the tank. The 2 parallel bar is for you to secure the left and right stand.

PS: I love the light but I think this stand issue is bordering on @#$@%#. The rest of the details is simply value for money( actually very good ). I mean why falter here! OMG!!

    Dear Thomas,
I'm not going to damage...if you call that a stand by doing it myself. I'll probably get Mr Chan to do it... On a second note though, I'll probably hang it up to the ceiling today....

PS: The light is still great though except for that minor detail.

    Dear Vratenza,
Give Mr Chan a call @ 62556051, I'm sure he can help you with your quotation. Regarding the stand, it looks normal at first wait till you attach it to your light....

Btw, 6ft T5 is 80W per tube and it seems like its difficult to find 6ft T5 tubes. Do check also if you can get replacement tubes easy b4 committing.

    5ft T5 is 80w. There is no 6ft T5 light tube yet.

so without the 6ft T5, looks like my best option with be 2 rows of 4x39w T5 in a 6ft hood.....

is it possible to have 2 switch and 2 power cords (for 2 separate timers)to switch on alternate rows of tube separately?

Yes. Typically, a e-ballast can power 2 tubes. Thus if u have 4 tubes in one fixtures, u'll have two switches for each fixtures.
