Where you live?

Hi Guys,
I am new here. Like to ask where can i get fresh water shrimps such as the Yamato and Cherry Shrimps ? I only need a few as my tank is quite small and i don't want to buy in bulk of 100. Also, is there any places where i can get fresh water snails ?Thanks for any help.
Cheers

Where you live?

I am based in S'pore. Thanks.
Btw, my tank is not planted so what kind of shrimps are more suitable ?

Which part of singapore do you stay. Maybe you could give us more information of the tank you have. Then we can suggest what shirmps and snails are suitable

I lived in Toa Payoh. Hmm i just set up my tank yesterday. No gravel or sand on the bottom. Just bought a nana so bascially its quite empty except for the nana. Fish includes guppies, neon tetra and clayfish.Originally Posted by Wackytpt

Clayfish? I think you meant to say 'crayfish'... Then, sorry, Onsun, if you want to hear the truth, I would say:
No shrimps or snails for you...' That said, your guppies and neons are in danger as well...
BUT, yamatos might be able to tackle the crayfish... But please use more hardy plants, i.e. Java fern and nanas... The crayfish will also tear away at your plants, so you can only use hardy plants... even though shrimps would prefer mosses...
