Hey all, i need some help with spawning my pugnax. Here's the situation:

    1 8cm female. Egg-laden. Showing horizontal stripes.
1 6cm male. ALSO showing horizontal stripes

    6ft planted tank.

Tank mates: 20x Harliquin rasboras 8x woodshrimp 8x pond gobies 1x malayan forest shrimp(Macrobrachium malayanum)

    pH: 6.5
    Temp: 24 -26
    dkH: 3

Now, everything SEEMS to be in order right? but the female has been chasing the male around for almost 2 weeks. She's even bitten half his tailfin off. Any ideas?
