    Try to catch 1-2 hrs AFTER lights off... Black skirts usually wake up pretty early, IME...

    er...might accidentally transfer some not so friendly bugs from the lfs unless you 100% sure the fella maintain his tanks properly.

    lfs fish may look healthy but may be carriers...
    i'd say the risk is not worth it...

    i'd rather pay for peace of mind...

      Please read my guppies(or fry's) all died for some reason and they all died with pointy tails its like there tails and fins where eaten away!! and now my other female guppy is about to give birth!!!

      AND , in my other fishtank, i have a plant i got from my pond
      and i think i brought more than a plant, i think i brought a tiny tan color creature that swims around (i always find them in my bird bath too) and i need to find a way to get rid of them with out killing my neon tetras!!!
