D2hpeter, accessories wise, you need to know what to get depending on budget for your setup. If you bought the wrong equipment without researching, it will cost more on upgrading. The best thing to do is to list down what equipment you need for what type of marine setup. How big a tank you want to get?
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.

    thanks for advice.
what i intend to do is to take a look at what they have at lfs first and at the same time plan what i want.
would appreciate if you could recommend some lfs that are more specialised on marine setup.

actually i quite like the JBJ 24g nano cube deluxe, the so-called reef-ready one.
For the time being, i just want something small. Hate to carry all those heavy seawater around on a frequent basis. Most probably would use Marine Environment salt mix. Start with live rocks and maybe some simple-to-care corals?

A-HA, I knew it! You were bitten by the JBJ looks is it?!!! No problem, there is a forum specially for this.

www.nano-reef.com/ for more info about this tank and setup. Enjoy and explore the site. Get ready to thin that wallet of yours.

    My Personal opinions:

    For accessory
    - Aqua-mart will be a gd place to check out aqua-medic stuff.
    - Aquamarin is a gd place to check out for late nights.
    - Online shop like http://www.eaquanature.com & http://www.reefdepot.com.sg/ or even oversea shops like http://www.marinedepot.com

    For Fishes
    - Sealife @ balestier
    - MarineLife @ West Coast
    - CoralFarm @ Lim Chu Kang
    - Reborn
    - Aquamarin
    - Pasir Ris Farm

    For Corals
    - Paradis Reef along Lavander rd (wrong spelling I think )
    - Pasir Ris Farm, Iwarna
    - Reborn
    - Lim Chu Kang Farm
    - T95 @ Jalan Kayu

    Cheers

IMO, u can setup a nano tank pretty easily but you'll have to be on ur toes. Cause a small marine tank tend to go haywire very easily.

    Minimum equipments I'll recommend for a nano tank are;
    - Cannister (a sump will be much better)
    - Skimmer
    - T5 HO Lights
    - Wavemaker

I'm not too sure how much is the JBJ 24g nano cube deluxe and the equipments that come with it but u can get those items pretty easily off the shelf.
