    Certainly doesn't look like it. I had the impression that the red/red tail has red coloration.

    did u type pulcher?? i tot pulcher refers to the krib or smth?? looks more like agassizi to me tho....

    Hmmm... I don't think its an Apistogramma pulchra either. The tail shape is different from what I can see in a few publications. The tail patterns seems pretty distintive, like that of Apistogramma agassizii.

    Where did you get this little fella from anyway?

    Got it From Gans quite sometime back but it has since pass away.Thought it was agassizi too initially until i saw the picture on apistogramma.com.Guess i was wrong again

    Hi CCS,
    If you could take a more side profile shot of the fish..
    I would be interested to see the dark body markings below the lateral line.
    It does look quite like a pulchra.. the caudal tail does not look as lanceolate as an aga.
