Very interesting. That fish caught my eye when I saw it at Rainbow last weekend. I think they were selling at $2 there.

I got it at $1.50 in C328. Quite Ex though. However, I find it special as compared to the normal Cardinals/blue-green Neons. Personally, I feel it's a plus to have a few if you are already keeping the cardinals/neons tetras.

i bought about 25 pcs of what looked like cardinal tetras last week at C328 for $1 each. After reading this thread i not sure what they are anymore but i do agree they look good.

anyway, like some of you, i got mine with broken fins or no tail fins and speckled with white spots. so, be mindful of the current batch of the "cardinal tetras" look-alike in C328.

i'm not in singapore right now and very curious how are the "cardinal tetras" doing, i.e. fins grown back and white spots remedied or are the dying by the day. well, probably get to find out end of next week.

    cheers,
    roy

    Roy,

If it's the Cardinal tetras, you will see a full red coloured belly while those fake neons do not have.
