    hello...this is my 1.5 feet B. coccina tank...of about 3 weeks...

    specs:

    Volume: 5 gallon
    pH: ≈ 5 - 5.5
    Temperature: 25 - 26 C
    Lighting: 29 watts
    filter: eden 304

    plants:

    Anubias barteri var. nana
    Anubias barteri
    Salvinia auriculata
    Microsorium pteropus
    Vesicularia dubyana
    Cryptocoryne wendtii green
    Cryptocoryne walkeri
    Cryptocoryne retrospiralis

    this houses 7 coccinas...

    love the tank and fishes very very much!!!

    Nice set-up, this is non CO2 tank? ....more leaf litter would really make this like a biotope...I like coccinas

    ya i love them too!!!

    but this tank is small and if you put those big ketapang leaves, they would look too big in the tank...

    i used a DIY CO2 for the plants and to further acidify the water....

    nice tank you got there, have you tried w/o CO2 injection? jus loved e tint of yellow...looks so natural....maybe u cld break up the big leaves to form a small leave litter.....looks great!!

    hello guys...now it is without CO2 injection....and filter change to eden 316....cos the 304 seems too weak...

    thanks for the comments....
    many inspirations also come from the tanks displayed in this forum...

    i could break the leaves into smaller proportions but i would rather not as they will eventually rot and then i have to either remove or replace the leaves...that would disturb the fishes...and i am lazy to change the leaves he he....
