    I just bought my replacement bulbs at $45 each. iwasaki eye color arc 6500K daylight bulbs from system and control engineering.

    daylight osram MH tubes can be found at nature aquarium, the lady boss said 30something.. suspect $39+

    Osram MHs can be bought at the lighting shops opposite "Old Thieves Market, where there is a coffeeshop nearby that has nice laksa and loh Mee.

    Take note of the Osram tube . It is only 6000K , very yellowish , if I am remembered correctly as I used to have them for a year. I preferred the the Astra Lux , around 7000-8000K very white and bright. 10000 hr lifespan.

    OEM for osram, philips , etc... according the merchant i bought from.. Its made in UAE.

    I was asking where astra lux brand was bought from, xtrekker, you mean viclite (that you recommended) also sells those

    That is correct. You can check out the URL provided by xtrekker. Nice boss and managed to persuade him to deliver to Clementi area for 3 pieces. Not sure he will do it now as his office is around Sim Ave area.

    What amazed me was that the MTBF is 10000 hrs and very white !


    U should also look at his e-ballast, and pricing I think quite reasonable .

    Yup . i bought it from viclite. Its a astralux 7500K daylight bulb. The boss it friendly and the price is reasonable. Can chat with him and ask him for advise.

    Hi neon , they have the eballast for MH in stock now ? ITs was out of stock when i was there .

    No, I did not check with them this time. I was merely looking at their website but I did ask them before.

    Just FYI Osram tube had rated 5200K only. That why look yellowish.
    I had used it in my light hook for 1.5 Yrs.

    aiyah, the astralux 150w daylight no more stock liao... stock coming in march only...

    how's the bulbs so far? looks more whitish or yellowish? my osram bulb looks real yellowish after about 1.5yrs...

    I switched to Astralux 1.5 years ago and the result is very positive . It is bright and white !!
