    Hi

Here is my 2 feet planted tank. Running for a few weeks after some modifications

    Details
    Dimension : 60*30*40
Gravel : silican sand if not mistaken,
JBL subtrate (but got mixed up when i had to move the tank many many times)
    Co2 reactor method
Flora: giant vallisneria, Red tiger lotus, mini moss on driftwood, hairgrass and glosso recently introduced, one plant that came with malayan shimp bag(right corner), 1 other i dunno name(they are at both sides of tank).

fish: cardinal, neon, gourami, pencil, spot tail, black neon, sae, yamato, malayan, 1 oto, ....

light : 1*55 (one year one), 1*40 (running on a 55w ballast, one year old as well)
    Profantec fan on top...

Filtration : cheap cannister filter, Jebo 838 (so far no problem with it) (more than a year)

Comments are welcome.... I wanna do a rescaping.,.i will have to temporarily change room in a few weeks, will move again after 2-3 months... is there any way to carry that tank (without water).... can i carry with with stand....or is that too dangerous..?

Any suggestions as to choice of plants..? any new additions required...

My tank seems small, compared to other 2 feet tank when it's planted...maybe i have to move to smaller plants.. hard for me to throw my giant vallisneria though (they've been most faithful in terms of growth), i have them for over a year, each time i trim i throw away a lot...

next week i will be paying visit to Teo farm, what should i get from there???

Since your tank is quite high, you might want to focus on creating a layer effect to make the tank look deep. Your foreground could be sparse with abit of hairgrass, then followed by your tiger lilies, nana petites, etc for your midground.

For the rear, IMHO, I think using stem plants are the best as you can get alot in a bunch, you have a variety to choose and they are easy to maintain. I am using a variety of stem plants to create a jungle effect and I find it quite appealing.
