Errrm maintained at 26-27 degrees ... using only 1 fan ... the fan for my kids when they were babies

somehow the large surface area and the baby fan kept the temp steady

Very nice tank you have there. I'm currently trying with a 1ft cube using ferns, anubia, nana.....and also trying HC

Hope to see some results after 1 month.

Joe, could we have a look at your lighting setup? Some pictures?

Where is it mounted?

What's your lighting cycle with non co2?

hey soyadude, i dun have pictures of the lightings but i can take one when i get the free time

the lights are using 4 x 55W PL Osram PL tubes ... nothing special

the lighting duration is from 2 to 10 pm ... so that i can see them when i get home

thanks for the comments ... the tank is still in early stages and is not completed yet ...
so far, i've only changed water twice in the past 4 months
i'll try to post a pix ... once i get out of ICT

Joe, since you're using Onyx, just want to find out how your find this substrate so far. No base fert underneithe right? From what I know, seems that it already has nutrients in them and thus no need for base fert...probably just dose liquid fert will do.

No base fertiliser just pure Onyx sand. I've so far only dosed fertilisers twice and it was when I felt like it

Wah did not know so many wanna see it is now hehehheee .... i was away for ICT for 2 weeks and another week for Bangkok ... but hey no algae at all!!!
