No aquatic scape is complete without a hardscape, meaning you need driftwood or rocks to give backbone and definition to your scape. Plants are too "soft" for that, unless you're going to scape the Dutch way. From the plants you have, looks like you can try for a South-East Asian look. Try going to greenchapter.com for ideas, or looking through pictures in magazines like Asian Geographic.
Fish are also a essential part of a scape. As for now, I suggest you get a good peice of driftwood first. The ones in LFSes are no good, you have to go to the local plant farms to get your peices.
