dam... my office does not allow fish tank with pumps due to safety reason, regardless of what form or pumps...
Guys, is it possible to have 1 wo pump? just trying my luck here... hehehe

Water circulation is important. You need the water to be moving around in the tank.

I think for a pico tank, there is a tendency for the water to turn foul very easily. As such, not advisable to run one without any filtration/water movement.

What about battery operated sponge filters? That the least they can consider right?
