    Hello everyone,

was wondering how do sucker fishes or otos hang upside down on driftwoods or even on the side of diftwood? Do they have "magnet" on their bodies? or do they use they mouth to suck onto the object to hold them there? Or is it some kind of mechanism in them to help them float there?

    Hope to hear!

First off they use the sucker.

Secondly all fish have an organ called the swim bladder that allows them to sink or float

haha, as someone who used to spend alot of time hanging upside down... no.

Their bodies are always horizontal unlike our vertical ones. hence there wouldn't be any blood rushing to their brains.

Once they reach this size ! they're too heavy to hang upside down !
