    Shot these wild flowers at Khatib Bongsu, can anyone help to ID them? thanx.


    1.) Mimosa sp. ?



    2.) ?? (flower cluster and leaves/legume)




    3.) Derris sp. ?



    4.) Passiflora sp. ?



    5.) Ipomoea tricolor ?

    Very nice shots, i like the first pic the most, sorry can't ID them for you but are all of them Singapore Wild Flowers?

    yes all are taken locally (in Khatib Bongsu) but not all are native. The first one was meant to demonstrate the shallow DOF, as you can see there is a ring of focused (pistils) but the rest are OOF thus forming rings of blur white spots in front of the pink "hair"

    the shallow DOF worked well in that shot... gave it kind of a purplish hue.. like a martha stewart glow..lol
