anyone has experience on breeding Bee Shrimps?
i currently have 15 of them in my tank, pH around 6.2-6.8
    its somehow a 1 ft x 1 ft tank...
with a sponge filter pump.. and also has a fan blowing 24/7..
but i have a few which looks reddish brown + white, is that natural?
because read from website that its better to keep them in water thats little between 6.2 to neutral.
it has been 2 days now, no casualties though...
black and white colours are showing up nicely...

hope to get some tips from other shrimp breeders.
like wat temperature is needed, do i need to plant anything?
currently only have a small piece of driftwood with a little xmas moss grown on it..

well, no fast replies to my thread.. anyway, lets not talk about breeding.
what about is it advisable to mix Bees with CRS?
i read in some forums, they said its ok to mix, even though they do cross breed...

so i just hope to get some suggestions...
personally i do not want to mix them, but i love them both..
its just that i dun have enough space for another tank...

Well, apparently, I don't have luck even with cherry shrimps!! So, sorry, Farnieguy... I can't help you...

Anyway, some people say CRS are advanced Bees... Not sure if they will cross breed... You may not want to keep them together if you do want to breed CRS... Or pure Bees...

    My 2 cents...

i read about it too, they say CRS are from selected Bees...
hmmm.. i kept cherries before, successful in breeding them.. but i fed them all to my angel fish... because i wan a change.. new challenge of Bees or rather CRS.. starting off with lower grades now though...

Don't ever do that, I mean the feeding of the cherries to the angels... Some guys here could have gotten them to try... Sounds like such a waste...

Anyway, let's wait for the guys to return from their dates and reply to you lah...
