I ever mix my own fry food but really not worth it all u have to do is train them to take whatever food u drop in, and of cos good quality food will result in good quality fishes.

Reference dennisks' post. I was there last Friday too. My friend and I were the only customer and no staff were busy but we were ignored. So, like dennisks, I gave it a miss.

I'm not rich but I would rather give my hard-earned money to worthy store. I ended up at Pet Safari - the prices are higher and the apistos are in better shape. So, I bought a trio of apistos at Pet Safari. Mind you - Pet Safari was very busy last Friday. Can't remember the name of the really helpful staff who guide me thru the A thru Z of apistos. Kudos to him!

roy, sometimes u can't blame em for being busy. when i went there a few days back, the staff were busy moving tanks in and out of the shop. and one of em was fiddling with a custom background for one of the tanks. one of them finally gave me some assistance but then again, he sorta ran off with my nijsenni cos there was another customer and his boss called for him. i know of the guy at Pet Safari. yeah he's quite knowledgeable in this field. but i think the prices there don't justify me spending alot more extra on their superb service.

dennisks, ahaha, u wanna open a lfs eh? yea i had the idea a few years back. but when u come to think of it. it's better for u to just be a home breeder and then go serious only when u have the capital and not to mention the patience. i've seen several lfses in my area deteriorate to the extent that they don't even bother to clean the tanks. lol, come to think of it, why don't u enter into a joint venture with some of the forum people and open yer own lfs.
